Business Formation and Outside General Counsel
Advising startups on what type of entity to create, such as a limited liability company (LLC), partnership, S corporation or C corporation, and registering the business in all jurisdictions in which it will conduct business. From inception to dissolution, we help businesses navigate ongoing legal requirements to maintain their separate entity status, including corporate records maintenance, shareholder agreements, membership agreements, buy-sell agreements, employment agreements, and third-party contracts.
Assisting individual business owners and families in planning the transfer of their legacy to their successors, including preparation of wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, life insurance trusts, and advanced health care directives. We also represent individual trustees in all aspects of administering trusts.

Client Accounting Department
Morgan Law places an emphasis on the overall goals of our clients, which can include addressing important tax and accounting issues. These issues frequently arise in our areas of practice, and our integrated client accounting department advises on resolving complex tax matters. This department is operated independently by Morgan and Halpenny LLP to comply with California law.
